Had a brilliant afternoon with Jeff Goodson on an explore of a WW2 sea defence battery which had towers, tunnels and support buildings, like a small self contained unit.
The gun placements were like coliseums to me, the towers like monoliths and the tunnels were dark, long and eerie.
We found the wooden lift that would have lifted ammunition to the guns, you can see the opening of this in one of the pictures.
We found all types of building, some still had the names written above the door, such as the magazine. I can’t wait to go back for another shoot.
