Me and Matt went to the new Turner Gallery at Margate and had a great day out. We drove over with the top down, a lovely sunny day and great to see the arts working to bring the town to life.
There was some great work exhibited in the gallery, I loved this piece, it filled the room and was seaside to the core.
I love what the Pen has captured with the light and shade, casting shadows and the sculpture itself is really sharp in an overall grainy feel.
I was really lucky with the light when we visited, the design of the gallery is great for photography too and they allowed it in every room.
The town itself was good too, it felt down at heel (which I like) with pockets of creativity from galleries to vintage shops, and this amazing car which I thought was cool.
