Fits like a glove

I’ve had suits made by David Stevens  for a few years now. He’s a fantastic Tailor, taught by his father and in his time has worked for the likes of Daks and Chester Barrie.

I love the whole experience of having a suit made, and there’s nothing like the way it fits, for some reason it feels like a part of you, it fits like a glove. Here are some of the things I like about the experience of a bespoke suit.
I normally have my fittings at home, David brings his cloths and linings so I can choose at leisure. My last suit was a charcoal grey Huddersfield  worsted wool with a raspberry  lining. I wanted a British cloth, its important to support home grown talent and tradition. I also have two pockets to the left of the jacket and they are always slanted.

My buttons are always working ones and this time I had them in the cloth of the suit, oh and five on the cuff is my look. Trousers are flat-front, with a slant pocket.

If you haven’t had a suit made and you are looking for a special experience, I promise you won’t be disappointed with a bespoke suit, a truly magical experience in every sense.
